risk is characterized by two quantities:
1. the magnitude (severity) of the possible adverse consequence(s),
2. and the likelihood (probability) of occurrence of each consequence.
If the risk is too big, you don't take it. When the chance that brexit goes wrong is smal, and the negative magnitude is very large. So then the risk is high, and you don't take it, unless you are irresponsible.
There will always be somebody, in the boardroom, maybe, who says that the risk is too high.
Just the same as in the UK Brexit.
Many of those boardrooms, on the high street, are now gone!
Take no risks - stay stuck under the massive EU roadblock.
Take some well researched risks - prosper.
