Yes, they demonstrated a device which puts an electronic cordon around a given area and drones who attempt to enter that cordon are brought down by that device.

I am totally against the public owning drones for hobbies or anything. But these were reportedly industrial drones. So the people who had them had access and were able to procure them. This is a massive security transgression which should not happen if you have adequate controls in place.
Some experts have been warning about this for years and nothing is ever done until there is a problem. People who should listen don't listen and then they blame all and sundry instead of taking responsibility.
Apply that same approach to Brexit preparations and it will tell you exactly where we are at.

Chris Grayling was warned, the Risk Assessments done, the Legislation prepared.
He put it on hold.
He is a disaster, same man responsible for the state of the railways and roads.
He is a supporter of May, so safe.
