Went to visit an injured Masked Owl (Tyto novaehollandiae) that is being cared for and ready for release by the dedicated volunteers at @fawna.inc - interesting effects occurred when I couldn’t quite focus into the darkened cage - I kinda like how it turned out - what do you think ?

Scud cloud racing across the fields of the wheatbelt. An incredible visual spectacle, however the heavy rain/small hail and very strong winds that accompanied it were not very welcome by the farmers.

We came, we saw, we took lots of photos. The last of the #sapphiresnappers make the trek back from their instameet adventure at #bourndaisland look at all those foot prints from the previous hungry snappers. At the back of the pack is @kylofoto who still can't quite put that camera away squeezing in a few extra shots. Check her gallery for her awesome take on the instameet. As well as @flying.parrot @harris1737 @harristracey10 all took excellent shots. Where to next snappers?
