China and India do, as someone pointed out.

Why should we be different?

China and India have pretty strong competitive advantages over us. Workers in both countries are still paid peanuts. How do you see us matching their strengths?

In the big bad world it is unit costs which count.

Higher wages can only be paid for by higher productivity.

What he means is he hopes that Brexit will not happen.

Since they won that silly football thing, the Frogs are getting a bit above themselves.
