They either have to drill down to them or get some enormous pumps very quickly.

I also saw this on the news,what a tragedy.It doesnt sound very good for gettning these children out safely

My thoughts too, the longer it is going on the less I am feeling positive about the outcome, so, so sad and tragic if they don't make it.

They have enormous pumps working 24/7
But the monsoon rain comes down in buckets and can undo the work of pumps in minutes.
The situation is desperate they are over a mile down and the water is rising it would take months to drill down .
They are also running out of oxygen in their confined space .
These children are going to have to dive else they will die anyway.

Hi

I have not been in these caves, Guy has.

I have however been in the area during the Monsoon, it is a nightmare, it is like standing under a Power Shower for hours.
