And, yes, those who do so, need to feel superior.

Example : all of the anti-Trump people.

We have a concession for that

I think you even get a brownie point or 3

I look down on people who swear a lot - especially in everyday conversation.

Rich or poor it makes no difference. They're low life to me!!

How is disagreeing with Trump's policies or disliking him as a person looking down on him?
I happen to think he's a very successful businessman ... just a crap President with a big mouth.

I find myself looking down on Jeremy Vile and his guests. Let's face it, you wouldn't want to live next door to them.

I always look down on short people.

As an old friend of mine used to say, "When you are tall you look up and see the sky and the stars, when you are short you look up and all you can see is tall people."

Alas he is now deceased so he can't even see short people any more.

Psychopaths are often very successful business people, highly motivated and driven to reach the top of their profession. I certainly wouldn't consider them sub-human. I guess you're meaning the ones who become killers.

I suspect we're all snobs to some extent and look down on certain members of society, whether we wish to admit it or not - the so-called benefit-cheat, the folk who are unable to string a sentence together without swearing, yobs, bullies and abusers, wanna-be chavs. I find it hard to believe everyone on here is as tolerant and all accepting as professed.

Why?
Because some are drug dealing, low life drains on society.
