Forgetting about a cup of tea or coffee

Has this happened to you? It just did to me. I made a cup of coffee then got distracted by being online and posting.

Would you make a fresh cup or just drink it cold (like I'm doing)?

It happens to me occasionally but most of the time I remember it.

I am a firm believer that there is an optimum temperature when it comes to enjoying a cuppa. Too hot or too cold just won't do.

I don't own a microwave - I've never wanted one.

Had a cold coffee earlier as I was busy in the lounge, tidying and hoovering (no dog to bark at it, yay!), and had almost forgotten it.

Then after all my trips to the storage facility, collecting dog and sitting down with a cup of tea, phoned brother, and during the convo told him about Morrisons losing my meal order ticket, while I sat there with my pot of tea...oh! Remembered I had a cuppa beside me, and of course it was nearly cold.

So yes, I'm always doing it actually.

Get an insulated mug. Coffee or tea remains hot for ages in that. I use this one:
