Picture hanging strips

Has anyone used these to hang photo frames or pictures on their walls? I don’t want to make more holes in my walls but have 13 photos of Holly to display.

I only have three spare nails, so have been looking at ways of putting up the others (when I eventually buy more frames). I came across these strips today. I just want to know if they are as strong and stable as advertised.

If I do buy them, that means I can put up frames anywhere in the flat.

Re: Picture hanging strips

Hi

I got some this morning Jazzi from B&M.

Used them on the bathroom which is tiled.

Easy peasy and it hasn't fallen down yet.

Re: Picture hanging strips

Jazzy, if it is the Command strips you are referring to then I can thoroughly recommend them. Just make sure you get the appropriate pack for the item(s) you are going to be hanging. They are also easy to remove and replace if you change your mind about where to place something.

Re: Picture hanging strips

We have used them with varying degrees of success, the lookie likie cheapy ones aren't worth buying, the proper command ones seem ok. I don't trust them for heavier items though but that might just be me having no confidence in them rather than any real proof they won't work.

Re: Picture hanging strips

Ive used the Command ones for pictures and light things ..I wouldnt hang anything if it was heavy on just a strip. Ive had heavier items fall from the wall. Nothing beats good old picture pins

Re: Picture hanging strips

I always use these things. I have some quite heavy pictures hanging on these and have never had anything fall off. Minimal damage to the wall too. they are available in different sizes.
