sorry not to be more active on here

For the last 2 weeks I have been a bit down health wise with this damn cough and bringing up mucus quite badly. That has meant little sleep and nap during the day. Coughing has been a problem and now it is going it has left me feeling very week.
Also eating far less than I should it has been too much of an effort

Trying to get jobs done is a real effort and my son in Brazil hasn't helped either. At the moment he is waiting for more test results from fluid around his thyriod area.

awww RS I'm so sorry to hear you are unwell and your son too. Please don't apologise for being quiet on here, we understand things happen and we get ill from time to time.

One thing I will say after a longish absence everyone is still here and willing to chat, so I wouldn't worry about being quiet we are all here when you want us. I'm sorry you are having a rotten time at the moment, just look after yourself and come back fit and well again soon.

Take it easy old chap. I kinda understand what you are going through. Yes, the geographical separation from your son has to compound that. Mine suffered from collapsed lungs. It is harrowing. I hope your lad does gets the best treatment and responds well.

Oh, realspeed, l do feel for you. You are so far away from your son and the worry just eats away at you.
It seems that everything is being done for your son, tests, treatments and that’s really good.
My daughter’s ex boyfriend (at 28 years old) had the same thing and had to have a testicle removed. Three years later, he is fit and healthy again. So be reassured that lots can be done.

You must think of yourself too, so try and have something to eat to keep you healthy and get your strength back.

I wish you a speedy recovery Realspeed, stay warm and try not to worry. I am sorry for your son as there is nothing worse than waiting for results. But soon they will get to the bottom of it and he will be on his way to being cured.
