Re: Asking questions
Not in an interrogatory way, just how are you, and then anything to show I am interested in what they are saying. Hate people making things sound like an interrogation really not necessary if you are in any way emotionally intelligent. Also don't need to ask for minutiae my MIL was never happy unless she knew what a person had for lunch drove me mad that did.Re: Asking questions
It depends, if it's someone I meet just for a moment, I'm not likely to ask anything. If it's in a social situation and I'm likely to see them again I might ask polite questions such as where they live etc. if they seem to want to chat about themselves.Re: Asking questions
Most people like to talk about themselves so a question gives them the opening to do that.Re: Asking questions
It can be just as boring to be constantly questioned as someone who isn't interested. Better to be as I said emotionally intelligent and only ask to lubricate the conversation. If someone doesn't want to be questioned leave them be there may be good reason they are shy to answer.Thread Tools | |
