Personally I would be looking to eat decent quantities of :
Chillis, Garlic and Ginger
in your meals.
They will improve circulation which is vital for temperature regulation.
This assumes you have no medical reasons why you shouldn't eat those foods.
I'd make a nice big pan full of meat or vegetable chilli (chilli con carne etc).
Lob loads of garlic in there and a few chillis (to your taste) and plenty of mushrooms which are very healthy, and kidney beans likewise.
