Arizona police investigate after 'vegetative patient gives birth'

The woman is a patient in a clinic run by Hacienda HealthCare near Phoenix and has been in a vegetative state for a decade.

Apparently, staff had been unaware the woman was pregnant until she gave on 29 December.

Access protocols have now changed and now men have to be accompanied by a woman on entering the room of a female patient.

Hacienda HealthCare said it was fully co-operating with the authorities.
A male member of staff has obviously been "fiddling about" ......

Why no-one noticed a change in the woman's condition is a mystery, though .....

That's terrible at least these days with DNA they should be able to find the man fairly easily.

This so so disgusting. That poor woman.

It also makes me wonder what sort of care this woman was having for no one to even notice she was heavily pregnant!

Imagine growing up knowing you're the child of a creepy rapist...I know some people enjoy black humour, but even so...
