Dunkirk

Just watched this on Netflicks. I thought the photography and the visual effect were outstanding but why can't directors put everything in the right order instead of jumping backwards and forwards? Dunkirk is a good film but it could have been a brilliant film.

Sadly, not much dialogue in it and yes, there is the obligatory, gradual increase in dramatic drone.

Re: Dunkirk

I was unimpressed by it frankly, likewise 1917. Perhaps I expected too much.

They were both much hyped movies, they weren't bad but nothing special.

I have not seen 1917 but might just give it a miss anyway.
