A gardening tip

According to Bob Flowerdew, the organic gardener, he reckons this is a good tip.

Quote:

"Want a really green lawn? Just pee in the watering can, dilute well, and apply often . . . . and don't tell anyone! "

Easier for the men perhaps.

Re: A gardening tip

Ok so you probably might know this

Feed your magnolia in August, use rose and shrub food then use a mulch as top dressing,

I am a bit surprised at that Primus, as Magnolias need ericaceous compost, so I would have fed an ericaceous plant food.

However, what about weeing in your watering can?
Gonna try it on your lawn this year?

Makes sence Mups as long as it isn't too strong. Ammonia is I think the basis of nitrogen fertiliser .

I know when I have had bitches who peed on the lawn (Chloe doesn't) the grass regrowth was a lush green circle

My girls give the lawn yellow patches Meg, but I suppose it is because their pee isn't diluted.

They reckon bitches pee is worse than the male dogs because they squat close to the ground, so one small area cops the lot at full strength, whereas the males tend to spread it about more.
Makes sense I suppose.

Yes, you're quite right. My young dwarf tree is in a tub.

How about sitting on the water butt Muddy, you won't need to dilute it then...
