The withdrawal agreement still has to stand, Labour has already voted it down...May wants to negotiate with Corbyn, he may not wish to be implicated in what has become a dogs dinner.
Labour is now committed to a confirmatory referendum on any deal, there is no time to do that before May 22nd.
The mess deepens, I wonder if there is anyone in the cabinet with a brain.

Reports on the cabinet meeting...'' Just how divided is May’s cabinet? Told there was a vote:
10 cabinet ministers wanted a long ext;
14 wanted a No Deal or a short ext; 2 sat on their hands .
