Our cliffs are covered with nesting birds at the moment, gulls among them. They are not my favourite birds, never liked them much. The puffins are arriving daily and those wee ones I simply adore, heading out to Puffin Point in the next few days to see them.

Seagulls are quite big but probably nearly all feathers. I've never seen an oven-ready gull but I bet they're quite small under all that plumage.
