What would you miss?
Just had a power cut for a couple of hours which prompted me to think about what we take for granted.I could be really modern and say I miss t'internet, but the thing I missed (for those couple of hours) was light!!!
It wasn't light enough to read or do anything really with the few candles I could muster so basically I was stuck with nothing to do.
So, what would you miss if it was no longer there?

We lose power often, so we're pretty prepared!Have a number of propane lanterns - so have light.
Have a big woodstove - so have heat and a cooking surface.
The one thing we really miss, if we're caught unawares, is water. We're on a well, and when that power goes, there's no pump working! So no water out of the faucets, and no flushing the toilet either!
We usually try to keep our numerous water containers full, but one year had to resort to melting snow on the woodstove - which is a very slow process!
