I agree Lorna, it's Raab for me.

And has anyone noticed the latest catch phrase to surface?
Not anything to do with being clear!!!
It's political suicide now!

Everything is political suicide...political suicide to go for No Deal, and political suicide to try for more negotiation only to be refused and then be forced into a General Election.

So its political suicide whichever way things go!

A no deal will simply mean a clean slate to renegotiate from scratch.
We WILL negotiate new terms.

In my opinion this would be the best option rather than messy compromised deals.

Can you imagine in your wildest dreams the EU saying, "Oh look! They've got a new prime minister and a brand new team of negotiators! I know, let's scrap everything else on the agenda and spend the next umpteen months renegociating with the UK, it was SUCH FUN last time!!

Re: Who should be the next PM

The appointment of a new pm will be largely irrelevant as
he or she is not likely to be in office for very long unless
they can work miracles by satisfying two completely
opposing sides, and because of the sequence ot events
set off by TMs erratic performance a lack of a majority!
This can only be rectified by a general election in which a
Working majority is re-established!
I hope that the brexit party can fulfill the early promise
it has shown so far in achieving this aim!

Best Regards Donkeyman!

Boris Johnson's attempt to be elected as leader has just had a setback. Donald Trump says that he likes him.

Re: Who should be the next PM

Hi

I would not want to be the next PM.

May has left not only an impossible situation, she has also stopped all effective work on a No Deal.

This is pure vindictiveness.

Not only that, she has taken away our Trump Card by guaranteeing all Irish Rights.

The ludicrous so called Irish Backstop now leaves us trapped.

I despair, I really do.

She has allowed a nobody, a nothing, a Political Chancer, Varadkar, to rule the roost.

He should have been eliminated as soon as he threatened us.

There is nothing in Article 50 which says we must agree a Withdrawal Agreement before a Free Trade Agreement.

She handed the whip handle to the EU on day one.

We have been outwitted by an aging drunkard, it intensely annoys me.

We had so many negotiating cards.

Merkel would have had to back down if we had imposed massive fines on the German Car Makers because of the emissions scandal.

She chose not to.

She refused point blank to send the illegals back to France, which would have caused Macron huge problems.

The list is endless.

Corbyn and Abbott would be even worse.

I do not like Farage or his Politics, not my scene at all.

I did however vote Brexit in the EU Elections and would do so in any General Election.

He puts the UK First, Second and Third, is well capable of taking on the EU Establishment and is, more importantly, more honest than the others.

He is a rabid leaver, but even he disowned the ludicrous claims of Boris that we send £350 million a week to the EU.

Boris is a chancer, a part of the Political Elite, a con artist.

Farage is very different, a genuine person.

I do not like his Politics, but I admire him.

We need to change things, and he is the man to do it.

I am amazed Swimmy! This is the second time l have been
in complete agreement with you!
The only slight difference would be on the 350 M a week
payment to eu!
If you divde our so called membership fees to eu by 52 it
works out roughly at that amount?
Thats how l look at it anyway!

Best regards Donkeyman!
