Just walking around in the sun naturally will produce a healthy glow. It is essential to get some sunlight on your skin. Common sense.
I do not encourage anybody to use a sunbed.
Floydy I didnt say you Did/or anybody did ?!

I merely replied to you in essence of you saying about them being better off out in the sunshine....

So to clarify....sadly most dont want a 'light glow' as you say,

To Get the deeper tan would require sunbathing for a lengthy time OR use sunbeds,

For the record i would luv my teenager grandkids to embrace their pale skin but its the age we're in....

Our girls go for a light to medium spray at a salon once every now & then.

We only agree to that rather than them sunbathing ect.

Each to their own then. Sunbed use is incredibly dangerous.

I dont think a bit of fake tan should be banned.

Its a different day & age, we cant go back in time,

Maybe we should embrace and compromise and try to

You are dead right Lorna
It is definately a different day and age!
Where everything comes to you!
Where you dont have to wait for anything, it arrives magically
You stay indoors and still look good!
I'm sorry l just cant see the positives of the new lifestyle!

Best Regards Donkyman!

Couldnt agree more floydy...r.e sunbed use is a killer, none of mine have used one & hope to god they never will,

Thats why i allow them a spray tan now & again, to stop them using sunbeds or sunbathing.

So Not sure what you mean by 'each to there own then' ?

I've never used fake tan. I have to admit I love a healthy glow when I go abroad for my holidays, you don't need to sunbathe, just walking about in the sunshine gives you a bit of colour. I get my yearly essential vitamin D dose then.

Miss Madam went through a phase in her early 20s. She's very pale skinned and blonde. Studied and worked quite a bit abroad and decided she looked and felt better with the gentle colour she'd acquired from being outside.
Came home bought the fake tan to keep the colour. Yuk and double yuk. Cue messy sheets and towels.

Best thing she ever did was bin it and be natural again .
Pesta, Did you use Ambre Solaire?

At the same age, I would put it on at night and wake up a bit orange in the morning!
Sometimes, I didn’t wash my hands after and they would be orange too!

I have never been on a sun bed.

(Actually I lie a little, I used fake tan and a small brush when I was a teenager to dot small freckles on my face. It was all the rage back then )

Sorry, Pesta. I misunderstood.

When you were a teenager, were you trying to get freckles like Twiggy?
