Do you take OFF out with you?

It's not the big "no no" it used to be
I don't feel at all strange anymore going in to a restaurant or cafe or bar for a drink or a meal on my own.
In fact when I do Examining duties I'm often sent far and wide and regularly stay in hotels on my own too.

It used to be a book or paper I'd take with me
But now of course I have everything on my 6x10cm screen!
Quite often I'll post on the forum and play games in here while "on my billy"!!

I'll have to start posting pics up of my random, lone travels!
Mostly I'm with others though..

I don’t mind going anywhere on my own.
Unless, l was meeting people, l am not sure l could sit in a pub on my own.
I know there’s no stigma about it now but l think l’d still feel a bit uncomfortable.

Saying all that, if it was in a bar or restaurant in a hotel l was staying at, then it would be no problem to sit and eat on my own.

OFF, would be in my bag!

I used to travel a lot on business. Worldwide. Mostly you see the insides of a business facility or a hotel room. I used to take books. More recently it was my kindle.

No - if I am out - I am out. The technology stays at home.

Ooh no! OFF stays at home when I'm out. I don't think it has been properly socialised yet, so I wouldn't want to take it to a public place.

I don't mind my own company and would quite happily eat out on my own.

OFF is with me when I go out, I often look in to see whats happening if I'm out on my own, I don't when I'm with friends though, that would be rude.

Mostly no, but while on holiday I love to post reports and pictures on the forum. It makes me try to take more interesting photos and seek out information about my location.

Before OFF I would take photos while on holiday, put them in an album and they would never see the light of day again....

When I finally shuffle off my mortal coil, no doubt my daughter will bin the lot....At least they have served a purpose posting them on here....

OGF, I have been interested in photography for many years. I have a fairly decent Minolta film camera. You were selective with those - each frame had a development cost.

I now have a digital. It took me a while to get to grips that you could take shot after shot - the memory can hold several thousand images compared to 36 on film. The issue is now how to manage and organise the data. I do it by month and dump it on a DVD.

I don't drink alcohol but visit pubs for a meal if out alone and fancy one . Always have OFF with me.
