The medical advances are truely amazing

Still, Cass said, the tumor in this case was so large a "huge" incision was needed to get to it, so it ended up that the baby was "hanging out in the air... Essentially, the fetus is outside, like completely out, all the amniotic fluid falls out,
I wonder how the baby managed without the safety buffer of the amniotic fluid

Wow, that's pretty amazing stuff.
Imagine .. as you grow up, been able to tell all your friends you had surgery aged -12 weeks, before you were born.

That thought came to me as well Meg. If they drained the fluid, what could it be replaced with when the baby was put back in her Mum?
