We have the knowledge to grow food just about anywhere on this planet but the costs of doings so are huge. Then there is the cost of shipping food items to various places.
If a country doesn't have resources that are needed by other countries then that is where the problems start.
I am of the belief that everyone should have a roof over their head, food on their plate, medical treatment, and an education.
Like I said: If a country hasn't got what other countries need then-Too bad, so sad, no can help.
There are organizations that do help these countries but they are hampered by cash flow.
There seems to be so many reasons and problems to delay or prevent help being sent or received.
It would be interesting to throw all the bureaucracy up in the air. Then when the dust settles, start again afresh, with good common sense and consideration placed highly on those in dire need.
You could look at it this way too: How much, of what you now have, are you willing to give up in a re-shuffle?
Sharing the wealth, so to speak.
You might want to ponder that a bit before you answer.
