What do you like to do on holiday? That could narrow it down a bit!

I know Urguhart Travel are a great company to travel with. Of course they aren't only singles, but there's probably great company on board and you'll make new friends.

I don't know of single coach holidays in Scotland, but I'm sure there will be something out there.

My walking group friends go holidays on their own but tend to do holidays over the world with a company called Just You. Need plenty of cash for that though. The tales they tell afterwards sound fascinating.

I hope you find something and have a lovely holiday. Please keep us posted.

I have been on coach holidays on my own - never a problem as people are usually very friendly.

I've never been on one just for singles and there are usually other single people on the trip.

Thanks everyone. I'll take another look at what's on offer. Myrtle thanks I was worried that I would be the only single among loads of many couples. Oangutan I'm a simple soul like walking sight seeing not keen on heights don't drink alcohol or smoke like to laugh read sea air.

Re: Coach holiday Scotland single over 50.......

Enjoy your walk Tess. The Ramblers were a life line for me 3 years ago. I've met so many friends, had some beautiful walks, had lots of laughs and a wee glass of wine or two at the end of the walk. Can't ask for more than that!!

I'd definitely not rule out an Urquhart Tour, or even a Lochs and Glens tour. They definitely have single people on board. You don't have to spend time with anyone if you don't want to inbetween times.

Have a lovely day.

Try Heritage Tours, they are a Scottish company and I enjoyed them.
If you like walking instead of the usually run of the mill towns etc.
Try the Royal or the Dalmally hotels with them, they are both in a quiet area, and have super walks.

Try either Urquhart travel (as has been suggested) or look up "Lochs and Glens" http://www.lochsandglens.com/ who run coach tours round various parts of Scotland.
