Quite rightly as you say and common sense is probably the best judge of this. However, not everybody has a good level of common sense. To form common sense information first has to be gained from some source, whatever that may be. Recently I was given information about Type 2 diabetes, that advice was on how to reverse or avoid this. It worked for me so in that case 'expert advice' was worthwhile. The problem in the first place came down to knowledge, which I didn't have, about what food actually does. Nothing to do with common sense just knowledge that was missing from what was just the 'usual' upbringing and education of the 1950s.

Maybe they have got it confused with milk.
Perhaps another thread? Coincidentally though there was also an item today on my local news about Raw Milk and how it's being sold. It is said there are risks associated with this as it's not pasteurised. The point being made though was that providing milk direct to the public gives farmers another way of selling milk. Apparently this is not allowed in Scotland though.

Yes, that word rears it's head again – possible 'greed' and how some people fund their lives and make financial gain in their own field of work!
