I really don't believe the appointments are either token or "uncle Tom" but clear indication that this whole matter is far more complex than a single root cause.

One heck of a lot of silly unrelated posts. If anyone makes any posts related to police murders, I may jump back in. Until then it is a waste of my time. Probably it is a waste of my time anyway.

I suppose it had to happen as few people on OFF know how to stick to a debate. But in spite of that I may make a post now and again.

Did anyone else feel uncomfortable when some of our Police officers ‘took the knee’ ?

They were not responsible for the death of George Floyd and it made me very uneasy it was almost as if they were capitulating In advance to what looked like an increasing menacing mob .

What do you think ?

Probably because to us it's not particularly important. What IS important is the awful way it crossed the Atlantic where it has absolutely no relevance.

To me it fits into the category of "Oh dear, tut tut, how sad! --- next?"
