This is a joke, as the cuts have resulted in shops etc only being inspected once every 10 years.
I am not currently a dog owner, I had dogs for 41 years and have always taken the poo home.
If you have a dog you should not expect others to pay for it.
What has this got to do with dog poo bins, Swim?
No one is querying how often shops are inspected?
This was about a bin sited too near a shop doorway.
Poo bins here are the responsibility of our local council.
We have to ring them if there are any problems.
Anyone caught not picking up can be fine £100.
If there is no bin or it is full, we can use any litter bin as a last resort.
To my knowledge, the dog fowling law only came into force in England in 1996.
Certainly when I was a kid, nobody even heard of picking it up and you soon learned to look where you was walking!
Anyway, I digress. I just hope Tabby gets a satisfactory outcome to her letter and the shop involved is mad putting up with it.
