Ice melt could quintuple!!!

Scientists believe it is possible that that antartic ice melt could
reach five times its present rate??
Studies show that past events have reached those levels millions
of years ago from stdying the antartic ocean floor corrugations?
So allthough the ice is melting faster than we like they hope it
will take a couple of centuries to reattain the historic reduction
in antartic ice??

Nobody said that the climate wasn't changing d00d, that's what climates do......Greta is so naive that she thinks she can do something about it.....

Climate has always changed but the question is, are we speeding it up. I am sure that we are and there is even evidence resulting from this lockdown for Covis19 with much less emissions because of decimated air travel and car use. We have in excess of 250 glaciers here in New Zealand and all are retreating and have been for decades.
Don't be nasty to Greta! She is brave enough to stand up for what she believes. You only dislike her because it contradicts your lifestyle .

8,000 years ago, the area now known as The Sahara Desert was a tropical paradise, with lakes, rivers, ponds, ferns, palm trees, and full of elephants, hippos, crocodile, antelope, turtles, frogs and a multitude of fishes, etc etc.

Now, tell me THAT was caused by man ? The earths climate changes. Get used to it.

Has somebody been measuring the Ice and studying the Ozone layer since the world began?

As far as I know we have only had the technology recently...

And don't anyone mention 'Core Samples' there is so much that they don't tell us....We guess the rest!

Yes OGF scientists have been mapping the the sea floor under the
Antartic ice shelf, apparently it has formed a series of corrugations
Caused by tidal action over the years, and these corrugations
become exposed as sea levels rise and become covered when
sea levels fall, at the moment they believe there are many more
corrugations still to be exposed thus suggesting that sea levels
have been much higher than at present in the past??
In other words we have been here before, it is nothing new!
It is just unfortunate for us! unless we can adapt??

It certainly does Donkeyman.
Fossils from sea creatures have been found high up in some mountains, suggesting that either the mountain was lower or sea levels higher, or both.. I believe it was in scandinavia, but also in other parts of the world.
