Re: What’s New in Windows 10’s October 2020 Update (20H2), Available Now

Since:

a) I was on my old laptop

b) 20H2 is a (minor) release

I threw caution to the winds and installed/updated - it took less than 10 minutes including the restart .....

I've done one computer. It was quick and everything works OK.

Sorry to be negative, but I'm happy with the system control panel and I certainly don't want Edge.

Edge Chromium is much better than standard Edge and has more connectivity without any shenanigans.

The Control Panel itself hasn't been removed (that could be something for the future). It's just that the 'System' icon in the Control Panel leads to a different place. It is still possible to get to the old place if you really want to but I'm not sure there's much advantage to it.

I use Edge most of the time. It's now not much different to any other Chromium-based browser (even Google Chrome).

I didn't really find too much wrong with it even when it was running on the EdgeHTML engine though. The browser is there to show web pages and EdgeHTML did that the same as the browser does now.
