Unfortunately, it is illegal to commit suicide in this country, Insurances don't pay out if that happens. Sad, but true.

My sister-in-law stepped out in front of an express train several years ago, having been sectioned to a psychiatric unit, but she managed to escape and found her way to a railway track 20 miles from the hospital and nearer to her own home. Totally devastating.
