Re: Alpine Coaster Ride!

That was exciting. I fully expected, at some point, a deep drop to appear. I found it quite exhilarating

Re: Alpine Coaster Ride!

Sorry Falconer it did nothing for me, I prefer driving a car at close to 150mph and that can get the adrenalin flowing.

If it had no brakes how did it stop at the bottom? Traveling at that speed it would take brick wall to stop it.

Re: Alpine Coaster Ride!

Given that it was from the top of a mountain, I expected it to be on snow and ice (like a luge).

Re: Alpine Coaster Ride!

AntiBrown, I expect there was some sort of remote braking device as it approached the end, would you think?...(I'd like to think there was, anyway, lol!)....

...(either that, or a sand-pit, heeheehee!).

Perhap's it was filmed in the Summer, Uncle Joe?...(not a lot of snow about then, is there?). Either way, my friend, I dunno...I just posted it...

That looks okay, I wouldn't mind a go on that, it reminds me of when I was a kid, sliding down the slag heaps on a piece of cardboard.

Re: Alpine Coaster Ride!

That was a good ride, and like Jimmy, a bit like going down the pit tip on my soap box cart when I was a kid....
