Brussels caves in?

Or perhaps not, but have they finally seen a modicum of common sense over €uro clearing transactions? From the article it seems the EU have given European banks permission banks to trade trillions of pounds and €uros through the City of London until 2022 when it hopes the European banks will be able to handle the volume of trades themselves.

Hi

Not exactly a victory, they are just protecting themselves, which they have always been good at.

We will not be keeping that business.

After all the shenanigans, still uncertainty. No surprise who is stirring it.

France has urged the bloc to target splits amongst Tory MPs by issuing a take-it-or-leave-it ultimatum to potential parliamentary rebels, forcing them to choose between a trade deal with the bloc or the No 10’s legislation.

Oh, they should try to play a different tune.
I have heard so often over the past couple of years that the EU are saying that we should just leave as they're not going to give us anything.

What I really can't understand is that they are still trying to persuade us to agree a deal with us...
without offering us anything in return!

I do feel that it is getting quite boring now.

Hi

The EU have done their sums.

The cost of the UK leaving is around £525 million per member state., absolute peanuts.

They, and the Japanese own our car manufacturers.

They will just take them back.

The Japanese have pulled out of building two Nuclear Power Stations here.

We import electricity from the EU, they will just put the price up.

UK ministers are to delay the passage of the bill through the Commons until December.

Do they?

Well why, then, don't they just sit back and wait?

WTF!! I thought it was so important to do this??
To much talk of getting the so called deal again for my liking !
And no action being taken apparently to set up the issueing of
fishing permits and quota's to fishing companies in both EU and
UK yet?
Things are starting to smell fishy?? (no pun intended).

Donkeyman! 👎😟👎

Good. Keep the pressure on, Boris.

But make all the necessary preparations for a move to WTO.
