A beautiful day for the beginning of the month, cooler in the mornings now and cooler when the sun goes down but today's temperature was around 21/2C. Today I visited a friend and we took a walk along the sea front at El Mojon. Quite a lot of people on the beach in this particular area and even some people in the sea.

Thanks for sharing those views with us, Loretta. THey remind me of a time 20 years ago when we hosted foreign students for 10 years.

Our very FIRST student was a LORETTA from ROme. WE have kept in touch & were invited to her wedding this summer.

We too used to host foreign students Robert, mainly from Spain and France and we are still in touch with some of them. One is now an architect, one a nurse specialising in diabetis, we went to her wedding in Barcelona a few years ago and one of our little French girls is now an Egyptologist. We were invited to her wedding in Paris last year but due to other commitments we couldn't go. We have visited the homes of these girls and they also come and stay with us here.
