Yes Cinderella, must be great for the youngsters given a chance to partake in the event, some have never been at sea.

On Monday is the parade of sail and it comes past my local patch St Marys island, before heading for Gothenberg.

Should be a spectacular sight.

I've always wanted to go see the tall ships. Must try and get there sometime before I slide off the plate. Great pics Nom BTW.

I vaguely remember taking my daughter to something to do with ships a few years ago. Really old galleon types and a sub. You went round the sub with headphones and could plug it in and hear the commentary at various points.

Wish I could remember where it was
