Re: PPE's
I'm afraid that anyone blaming the government for this has no idea of logistics. This pandemic has increased global demand for these products by thousands of percent in just a matter of weeks. Britain's domestic demand has risen from just a few hundred places requiring PPE to around fifty eight thousand and so Britain, along with every other country affected, is clamouring to secure supplies from wherever in the world this kit is made. A logistical nightmare indeed, but one which has no easy answers, and in my opinion to criticise the titanic efforts being made to accomplish the nigh impossible is churlish in the extreme.Re: PPE's

Yes, of course the government are doing their best in this extremely difficult new situation.Re: PPE's
Reportedly (although you won't see it on the anti-government BBC), there are 80 tons of PPE equipment on its way today from Turkey. No doubt, knowing Erdogan, there will be some quid pro quo but as long as the equipment arrives and is put into service, that's of secondary importance.Re: PPE's
