It makes a change

Breakfast this morning;

Urad Dhal soaked over night and then steamed until tender-served with a mix of onion,ginger,garlic,chillies, spices and tomato and two roti

Well we are not likely to go back to India in the foreseeable future so I brought back some memories.

Shame Jenny can neither eat nor drink but she could smell it

Re: It makes a change

Sounds lovely OG - but I couldn't eat anything spicy for breakfast. My systems so sensitive I can't even have anything 'sugary'! So tell Jenny I empathise with her.

Azz-it was a lot of work so maybe I`ll stick to porridge or Weetabix in future.

But it did bring back happier times(before Jenny got sick) when we had breakfast served for us in the warm morning sun-and you quickly get used to spicey breakfasts.

England and India know about good breakfasts-we love France as well but a bun and coffee is no substitute for an Idli and dhal or the full `English`
