Never - how do you do them - catfish could be a problem to find in the shops over here and I don't think we have big ones in the rivers to catch.

Best cats to use are the small ones.
Just gut & remove heads-roll in corn meal and seasons then deep fry.
Hush puppies are corn meal with chopped onion, salt & pepper & milk. Mix it up & use spoon to make small balls that are then deep fried. Yummm!

Not sure about how to get hold of enough catfish - do you have a sauce or veggies with them as well Dragon.

I usually deep fry some home fries & onion rings.
A real heart stopper of a meal! LOL
If ya want recipe will send it to you.

Thank you Dragon, but I think finding enough small catfish would be a problem and Idon't have a fryer anymore - trying to keep the weight off.

You could use any type of sweet fish & a deep sauce pan, but if you are trying to keep weight off then don't go near this. LOL
