Lunch

I'm sitting here enjoying a salad I just threw together. It contains: Romaine Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, bell green pepper, red radishes, celery, a Fuji apple topped with blue cheese crumbles and a vinaigrette/olive oil dressing. It's pretty darn good!!!!

Re: Lunch

Sounds lovely Bob

I had my first salad of the year yesterday, I don't usually bother this early as I find the tomatoes here pretty tasteless now. However I bought some organic on the vine toms and they were really delicious.

Re: Lunch

Even the cherry tomatoes are pretty tasteless now, but I have salad all Winter: varieties of lettuce, radiccio, shredded cabbage, carrots, endive, celery and a little hot pickled pepper; with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
