Re: Emergency Vet

Brilliant news Rena, and very welcome news indeed...

I know what you mean about your vet though, they really shouldn't mention something so serious without having a damned good idea that it's that in the first place..

Re: Emergency Vet

That's great news Rena I think your vet was a little premature to discuss a life threatening illness on the strength of one visit.

Re: Emergency Vet

Fantastic news Rena, Hip Hip Hooray - Bonnie's OK!
Vet has frightened you all for nothing, I know it's best to be on the safe side but should never ever had mentioned that to you without being sure. Especially after your other two.
A long walk and a play for today then?

Hugs to Bonnie

Re: Emergency Vet

Thanks everyone for your kind concerns - another 5 days on the antibiotic and anti-inflamatory meds. and Bonnie should be given the all clear next Wednesday when we go back to see the vet. By the way, the first vet passed Bonnie over to another vet, who I think might have more experience with these sorts of things. Whatever, it is a relief and thank you all again for your support.

Re: Emergency Vet

Yes I suppose they are like our doctors Meg, they specialise in their own fields so therefore are on the look out for signs. Anyway no harm done now
