Had my appointment with the eye specialist yesterday. All in all it took almost four hours with all the tests and examinations. To put it briefly, my eye is most probably totally buggered.The tests for visual acuity: ie how much I can see showed that the eye is still totally blind. No difference between light and dark, no colours, shapes or anything. Instructions to keep the eye covered and new medication. Got a new appointment in a month from now. When we were done I asked what the outlook was and she said that the coming weeks will decide the outcome, but there’s only about a ten percent chance of me regaining any useful sight. If there's no improvement by the next appointment then that's it. So I guess I’ll have to start getting used to the idea of probably only having one eye. Katarina took a close up of my eye but it isn't very pretty. I don't want to upset anyone so I posted the picture in a "my eye" album on my profile page instead of in the thread in case you'd rather not look.
