Three things in the past week. Think I am going senile
1) Put a joint of beef in the oven and forgot about it for about 5 hours. Like a black brick
2) Going to the chiropodists....I washed my feet, sprayed my shoes, socks and feet with foot spray and when I went to put the socks on I thought, these are a bit stiff and discovered....
yes, I had used hair spray.
3) and just yesterday, I cut my finger, put Savlon on it only to discover (when it started to sting) that I had put freeze-gel on it. (both in blue tubes).
I really must start wearing my reading glasses more often

a couple of months ago i had an eye infection, and was about to put some drops in, my daughter had put on fake nails and left the bottle of super glue on the table where i had left my eye drops, i picked up the bottle and was about to tip it up when my daughter came in and screamed so loud i dropped the bottle
she noticed i had the wrong bottle, i was just seconds off putting super glue in my eye Both bottles were exactly the same, apart from the label which my daughter spotted in time.
