Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Good morning ladies. A bit grey looking here this morning at the moment. Tesco delivery had everything I ordered so I can take it easy for a few days regarding shopping.

Cool and windy here. Zoom chat with Grans group at 11 then the big shop. Feels like a very busy day compared to normal boring life these days

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Morning, Landed up in bed around noon yesterday, felt awful dizzy, sick, and like I was going to pass out. Slept for hours. Himself was a sweetie and got his own dinner and let the dog out. When I woke my arm was killing me and was all swollen where the needle for the jag went in. Feel a lot better today, arm still sore but not as much. Didn't realise the jag would affect me like that......sheeeze. Having an easy day.

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Morning everyone (or afternoon as it is now) Roxy, that sounds pretty dreadful, but I'm glad you are feeling better! Hopefully the second jag will be a breeze I'm just back from the dentist, shaking like a leaf I was! I really am phobic about them, and wiggled about on the chair saying "Don't touch it, don't touch it!" Poor man must have thought I was 5 years old! Got some anti biotics, and an appointment for next week for an extraction. It was clean enough, with everyone wearing PPE, but the receptionist had a shocking cold. I sanitised to within in an inch of my life, believe me!

Good afternoon. Roxy sorry to hear the jag had such a bad effect on you, glad your feeling better. Jane my niece tried a zoom meeting at New Year but I'm hopeless with links. Pixie I'm not fond of the dentist either. Raining here at the moment so might dress for it and go for a walk.

Yes May, I think we'll be celebrating ,catching up on all the birthdays and Christmas we've missed too..Roxy, I hope you're feeling better, it's not a nice feeling .still cold here and been raining. One of the hinges is broken on the cupboard door so we went to buy a couple of new ones, when we got home O.H. was looking in the big cupboard where he keeps all his tools, and what do you think he found there,,,just a plastic bag full of hinges...typical..

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Sorry you had such a bad reaction to the jag Roxy. Sounds awful. Was it the AZ one?
The Zoom session went well. 9 of us this time. It was my turn to host so we had a conversation game. The first question was about people's worst holidays. Well we heard some awful stories!! Good fun session.
Must do some cleaning tomorrow after all that frivolity.

Belated Happy Birthday May. You are right. We'll really celebrate next birthday and Christmas.
Do you think people will have all the memorial services promised? Sorry to introduce a sad topic.

Belated Happy Birthday May. It will be celebrations for everybody when we can finally meet up with family and friends. Walked into town to get a few things and down came the rain. I caught the local bus home and put my feet up.
