Sky News

I watched the Sky News at 6.00am this mornig. The two presenters gave the news that over 3000 campers had been evacuated from a camp site in the south of France due to wild fires.

While they were reporting this, the printed news headlines at the foot of the page said that they had been excavated.

Interesting though, I wonder how that worked.

Perhaps a big JCB pushed them to safety!

Lol or perhaps not. If you use subtitles there are some howlers almost every day.

Re: Sky News

I don't know who does the typing of these breaking news items, their English is atrocious, spelling leaves a lot to be desired and half the time you have to read it a couple of times before you understand what it is they are saying.

Other than that I enjoy watching sky news.

I have watched these in my local pub, where they do not have the sound on and I think you will find the subtitles are voice generated.
