That's what I do too UJ, with am and pm compartments. Do it on Monday mornings on the kitchen worktop. The capsules roll everywhere and many's the time I've had to hook them out from under the fridge with a ruler!
Mollie, I've never had any empty ones so far.

Re: Medication/Pills

Thank you all again. I have to collect my next supply of medication tomorrow evening after work, so I will mention it to him then.

I take my pills using the kitchen worktop, but to stop them falling on the floor, I get them out on a clean tea-towel so if I do accidentally drop one, it stays put.

Let's hope you get an answer to the missing pills. A tea-towel, what a good idea, only been doing this for three years

Yes lass, they're not as likely to roll about on a tea-towel.

Tonight, yet another blister was empty! I take three different tablets each evening and this has only happened with the Clopidogrel. Anyway, I'll let you know what the chemist says tomorrow.

Take any faulty boxes to the chemist with you, Mollie - maybe they can be traced back to production by a batch or manufacturer number.

I've never had any problem with any blister packs but it appears there have been many faulty batches in your area

Good idea, Mags. This has happened before in other boxes of Clopidogrel I've had, so I'll make sure he's made aware of it. I won't take the box, but I'll write down the batch number and manufacturer's name etc.

Re: Medication/Pills

I spoke to the chemist this evening about this and he was quite concerned, and asked me to take note of how many pills were missing so, when I come to the end of the box, I'll let him know.

Re: Medication/Pills

just caught up with your thread Mollie, i am surprised you have found missing tablets, its something I've never come across.

I am sure your chemist will look into this, after all your paying for your medication you need to make sure you get what your paying for.

Re: Medication/Pills

I've never had this problem, just trying to pop them out is a work of art, they do tend to spring to life when you give them a push.
