Yes I think that is true.

Re: Dishwasher

I have had a dishwasher for more than 30 years and when I have people round it is great because I just stack it, switch it on & empty it when they have gone.

When I am on my own though, I often find it is quicker and easier to just wash a few dishes, so I can understand why some don't need one.

If it makes your life easier, it is well worthwhile but, if there is something that doesn't fit in safely, I just wash it by hand...... although I don't think I would ever want to be without one!

Re: Dishwasher

Every day here, at least 2 people are cooking and eating
Some days there can be up to 6 people
I've had a dishwasher for 18 years. It goes on at least once every day. Being a full time working mum I wouldn't have coped without it... and still feel the same.

Same here. It's no hassle washing a few dishes by hand which is also a good way to not let them build up too much. I have the cold water tap on very slightly to give each item a quick rinse as I take them out of the bowl.

My stepdaughter has a dishwasher and just leaves all their dishes in it when they are cleaned without even putting them away in the cupboards. Bone idle.

My dishwasher deserves its place in the kitchen. I wouldn't want to be without it.

Re: Dishwasher

We had dishwashers for most of our married life, but when the last one packed up decided that as there are only the two of us now, and washing up only takes a couple of minutes, if that, we wouldn't replace it.

Re: Dishwasher

Hi

My old house had all integrated appliances, new house, much smaller has the washing machine in the kitchen, next to the sink.

No room for a dishwasher of tumble drier.

I am converting the old coal shed to take the washing machine and tumble drier and a new dishwasher will be slotted in where the washing machine currently is.

Life is too short to wash dishes.

Re: Dishwasher

Well having installed it last weekend,I can honestly say why the devil didn't we get one before not least for the added bonus of having to not stand drying dishes and forcing myself to listen.

Lol, we were the same, had our slimline just over a year and can’t imagine life without it, even the Pfaff installing it, well worth it.
