I really do use toilet paper, wetted and stuffed in my ears, I find it cuts out most sounds such as the clock, people walking past and traffic noise but strangely, the one thing it will not stop, is the sound of snoring.

I have tried ear plugs in the past but they didn't work either.

The ones I use:

are one size only.

They will not stop all sound but will reduce certain ranges of sound.

Expensive ..... !

But they can be cleaned and reused so they may be worth a try.

Different earplugs suit different people - it may take a few trials before you find one that suits you .....
