Scotney Castle

Took a day out yesterday to visit this place originally built in 1300 AD and given to the national trust in 2006 when the old lady died who lived in the mansion house .






Most knocked down to build this Mansion house

Inside manor house the dining room, every room fully furnished but not in the actual castle

My main photography interest is animals and wildlife. As we have so many old buildings and castles here I thought I would have a go at taking pictures of them. At least they stay still.


You do realise that I went with a view to buy the place but it has no conservatory and no helipad and a bit small for my needs so decided to give it a miss.

Was there a swiming pool though, that would be a bonus.
You could build a conservatory. Helipad no problem, use the lawns.
