Re: Brixham Devon, Day Trip.

I like Brixham and have many fond memories of going there.
I haven't been for years and it is lovely to see it again.

Itīs a long time since I went to Brixham but I liked it there. If my memory serves me right we went from there to Clovelly to see the donkey shop. Lovely photos by the way.

If you go every year do you remember the summer when there were thousands of wasps around?

I remember hearing about it, but thankfully when we have been there, we have not seen them, and we have been going there for at least 15 years.

Re: Brixham Devon, Day Trip.

Thanks to you all for the kind posts. Glad a lot of you have been to Brixham & enjoyed it there.
It isn't far from where I live, about 40 minutes by car, but I hadn't actually been there for a couple of years. We spend more time in Paignton as it's on our bus route. No changing buses needed.

We will be in Paignton on the 23rd August, we stay at Torquay, and we will get the Ferry over to Brixham. I like Paignton.

Re: Brixham Devon, Day Trip.

Thank you both.
Paignton is lovely, Spring, begining of Summer or end of Summer. We don't go any other time. The traffic situation is dire.
Mostly the shops close Winter time too.
We do go to Paignton zoo a couple of times a year. It's a few bus stops before Paignton town centre.
To anyone going to Paignton it's a lovely place to visit.
