Re: Roberts Poems (part 3)
I pour my heart out everyday
If fills up again on Wed nes day
I wonder if I didn’t pour
It wouldn’t fill up anymore?
I wore a white and black sock today
My wife looked on in pained dismay
Tomorrow I may change them ‘round
And see if I can draw a frown
I went to see me grandad
Hadn't seen him for a while
He didn't say a lot this time
He'd even lost his smile
So l just sat and talked to him
Not sure if he was listening
But then I knew he must have heard
His crocuses were glistening
I just watched them as they slowly grew
He seemed to reach out and say
I may be lying six foot down
But I can hear everything you say
