Re: swollen stomach

Not sure what you mean Sarah?
Is it wind, or constipation, or something else?
Do you know the cause?

Re: swollen stomach

That is a worry.
The scan should reveal the problem.
Maybe a simple allergy.
I have only had a swollen tummy years ago, it was IBS.
But that suddenly just stopped.

Hope you get a scan date and sort it all out soon, Sarah.
Try not to worry too much.

Re: swollen stomach

Try a gluten free diet for a while and see if that helps. Good luck with the scan.

Re: swollen stomach

That's a good point ST. Before I went gluten free I felt like I had a brick in my stomach and it would really swell up. If that were the case Sarah would feel better in the morning before she eats anything. I used to feel ok until breakfast. Then it would be quite sudden after eating and quite painful.

Re: swollen stomach

Eighteen months ago, l had a swollen tummy, pain on my left side and reflux as well. I had to go for a scan which showed l had impacted gallstones.

I took Apple Cider Vinegar with Mother for the reflux and it disappeared. I then had my gallbladder taken out via keyhole surgery and have had no problems since!
