Vitamin b12

I have been prescribed by doc B12 100mg. Taking two every morning. Is there a maximum dose, as this isn't pharma ?

I think the maximum dose is, Vitamin B12 High Dose: 1000-3000 MCG im about to have Blood test to confirm mine, so may need a top up. Some meds can strip it from your system

I'm not really sure but I have to take Vitamin B12 injections every 3 months because I can't absorb the vitamin

I hope you feel better taking it. But for me extra B vits always made me feel sick.

Dobra, if your doc prescribed 2 x each morning, I'd do what he said and stick to that doseage.
None of us here know your blood results or why this was prescribed.

Why pills?

You get Vit B12 in good quantities from a variety of foods esp meats.

Liver and kidneys have plenty of it. Fish and seafood have good amounts (oysters, mussels, clams etc).

Had mine this morning, according to Nursie the standard dose is 1ml equivalent to 1000mg.

Nothing would induce me to eat any of those foods listed. I am allergic to shell fish anyway.
